The story follows , a teenager grieving the recent loss of his father. After moving into a new house in New Jersey, he discovers a hidden pearl ring in his bedroom. When he puts it on, he begins to see and communicate with Bea Jenkins , the ghost of a 17-year-old girl from the 1920s who has been haunting the house for nearly a century.
Bea’s spirit is bound to the house by a cursed ring she stole from a museum just before her death in 1928. As Cole and Bea develop a deep bond, they discover that Reuniting the cursed ring with its pair is the only way to break the curse.
